Dad’s Day DoodleBug
Gang
Father’s Day dinner
was winding down. We were surrounded by our family: our son and his
beautiful family, and our daughter, the aspiring medical student. We
enjoyed the camaraderie of laughing, sharing each other's secrets, and
sharing Mexican food. Our grandson was due to arrive in just over
two weeks, so it was a double father’s day celebration -- triple if you
count the fact that kittens were due any moment! How blessed
were we!!
We came home to find our Tyre girl’s water had just broken,
and knew we were in for a long night. Jerry was with her every minute,
from the time her water broke at 9 p.m., until the last baby was
delivered, 30 hours later. What a great dad! Even on the day of his
own celebration, the finest honor he could fulfill was to deliver three
wonderful little wiggly kittens.
These darling little doodlebugs are Tyre’s
third litter. I
